How to reset BatExplorer to factory settings?

If the software is not working properly anymore or the settings are fully displaced and even a reinstallation does not help, BatExplorer should be reset to the factory settings. To achieve this, delete the (hidden) folder “C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Elekon_AG”.

1. Close BatExplorer Software
2. Press ‘Start’+‘R’ on the keyboard to open the “Run” dialog
3. Enter “%localappdata%” and click “OK” to open a Windows-Explorer window
4. Select the folder “Elekon_AG” and delete it with the ‘Delete’ key
5. Start BatExplorer Software, the factory settings are loaded
